My name is Vekonda Luagaphay and I am the founder of The Lao Project. The Lao Project is a collection of narrative portraits that highlight the life journey of Lao Americans for our future Lao American children. It’s a long-term project that provides the type of Lao representation that connects Lao communities across the nation and mentors future generations. We thread the fabric of our foundation with narrative storytelling to empower each other through space and time.

The Lao Food Movement is an effort to connect all Lao food lovers across the U.S. and the world to preserve Lao food cuisine for future generations.
